This part illustrates how fast we can react to our customers needs. Production was at a stand-still until these parts were made. They were unable to machine them fast enough to keep up with demand. We started on the mold on Friday morning and worked through the weekend to deliver parts Monday. Most places don't even turn around quotes that fast. We continued molding them for six months until production tooling could be finished. Vital Statistics: Mold Description: Four-cavity mold with ejection. Mold Price: $660 Mold Delivery: Two days Part Price: $0.40 each Annual Delivery: 240,000 Material: Nylon 6/6 Additional Notes: Part width had to be held to within 0.002", center hole to within 0.004". There is a thin section that is only 0.010 thick and weakness in the weld line could not be allowed. |
